As a programmer, Sometime we ignorant or may be don’t want to give up things which were serving our purpose for a long time (Was well accepted) – I felt same when my company asked us to adopt new data standards – I understand the concept of CDISC standards but I don’t want to start because it costs more time to re-create SAS macros and understand source elements in detail to perform meaning full analysis to interpret safety and efficacy of clinical drug. I left with no option, so I decided to read and understand new data standard guidelines to make sure that I am also align with the industry and When I was underway, it’s started seeding me new ideas to make programmers job ease and effective.
